Absolutely wonderful home in an equally wonderful area. It was built in 1976 when America was celebrating the Bicentennial. This design came to be quite popular in the 1960s and 1970's at the tail end of the Midcentury modern movement that was happening and the design remains a very desirable to this day. It is designed for relaxed living space that invites in the nature that surrounds it with its many windows and sliding door. You can sit in the kitchen and look right through the family room out into the spacious, fenced, park-like backyard. Other characteristics of this house that follow this classic design are illustrated in the combined spaces such as the kitchen and dining room areas. There are Sun Tubes in the hall and bathrooms . These are designed to capture sunlight and funnel it into the house offering more natural lighting. These are energy efficient as there is no loss of heat as found with some skylights.
